The Rite of Fall

100 Years ago today, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring caused a riot, or near-riot, at the opening in Paris, France.

A similar show-down nearly occurred today as on the very first day of fall, as I had to put on my heavy winter jacket, but in the winter jacket there was a Euro just sitting in there waiting to be found. It’s like that sometimes. Something you don’t want to do or something that appalls you and there’s a little blessing sitting there right inside. Mom calls them love notes from God.

Today turned out to be a beautiful day, cool with a slightly breeze. Alice and I spent time planning how to wisely spend our time in Zurich and ate some Swiss chocolate to complement the planning adventure.

Chocolate makes everything better. Even if the something is already good!

Find your love notes from God today. They’re always there if you look for them.

Happy Autumn Y’all! Fröhlich Herbst, euch <- Potentially made the German up!

Many blessing and a warm hug as the seasons cool!
